Onboarding with Meso is quick and secure. To get started, follow these steps:
1. Verify your Wallet Address
This will be the destination for any crypto you on-ramp through Meso. You can only add a single wallet to start, so if you have multiple, be sure you have selected the one you're going to want to use with Meso.
To verify your address and confirm your ownership over it, Meso will ask you to sign a message using your wallet. This is the only way to confirm your address with Meso and help you prevent any errors with copying and pasting a long key.
2. Set Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Meso will always require you to log in using two factors before completing a transfer, and you'll be required to set up this feature right from the start. After entering your phone number, we will immediately send you a code via text to verify ownership of the number. Once confirmed, you'll be able to proceed to the next step.
See these links for more details about Meso's 2FA process and other security protocols.
3. Enter your Debit Card details
We will require your card number, expiry date, name on the card, and, the billing address.
We do not support credit cards (see here) or debit cards with billing addresses outside of the USA.
4. ID Verification
Verifying your identity helps protect your account and keep you (and Meso) safe from fraud and other forms of misuse of the platform. We take privacy seriously and only collect what we need to be sure we're dealing with a real user using legitimate credentials.
What we'll ask for:
- The last 4 digits of your Social Security Number (SSN)
- Full Legal Name
- Legal Address
- Date of Birth
- Email address
For more on how we use this--and what happens in the rare case we can't verify your identity with this information see here.
